Bahrain Air’s on-board raffle initiative, where passengers can win a ticket to any destination on the network, is causing a “sensation in the skies”, according to the airline’s marketing manager Naeem Mahamoor.
The promotion was launched on 1st November 2011 to give customers the opportunity to win a ticket on every flight; determined by the passengers’ class of travel (business premium or economy class). Passengers transiting via Bahrain will have the opportunity twice and round trip passengers via Bahrain will have four chances to win a ticket.
“As a hybrid airline we are striving to be the preferred airline of passengers and promotions like this raffle will help us to achieve our goal,” stated Naeem Mahamoor. “We want to be seen as an innovative and proactive airline and will be introducing more campaigns like this one in the future, to encourage the travelling public to fly with Bahrain Air
Raffle coupons are distributed to passengers as they board their Bahrain Air flight. During the course of the flight, cabin crew conduct the raffle, a passenger draws the winning coupon and the captain then announces the winner and hands over the ticket voucher.
“Our passengers are being entertained by the cabin crew and everyone is having fun and applauding when the captain presents the lucky winner with his coupon,” added Mahamoor. “This promotion has been so successful and due to popular demand we may extend beyond the December 31st deadline or even re-introduce it again early next year.”
All passengers are also enrolled in a grand raffle draw at the end of the campaign where four business premium class tickets will be given away and the winner coupon number displayed on Bahrain Air’s website on the 15th of January 2012.
