Video: GE Aviation nabs Guinness World Record title for thrust

Unveiled on 12 July 2019 as part of its 100th-anniversary celebrations, GE Aviation announced that its GE9X engine now holds a Guinness World Record title for thrust, after the jet engine successfully completed a performance test for 134,300 pounds. The previous record was held by GE’s GE90-11B engine of 127,900 pounds set in 2002
