Gate Gourmet says it is open for business at UAE airports

Negotiations ongoing with Dubai South

Gate Gourmet is open for business at Dubai and UAE airports contrary to rumours, says the company.

"There have been some rumors regarding only Emirates Catering being able to cater to private aviation at Dubai Airports. We know that even some staff from Emirates Catering have been personally addressing some operators passing this message," the company said in a statement.

The company's Executive Gourment division caters exclusively to private aviation clients and is "at your service 24 X 7 X 365 at all the UAE Airports," according to the statement.

"There are negotiations going on with Dubai South, with the aim to improve the choice and quality, of the catering services on offer for this special sector of our business and “executive gourmet’ is deeply involved in assisting all the stakeholders to achieve this objective," the statement went on to say.
