A division of Etihad’s cargo and logistics arm, Etihad Secure Logistics, has brought in three new armoured vehicles ready for the Jewellery & Watch Show in Abu Dhabi this month.
Vince Hampton, managing director at Etihad Secure Logistics, said that the premium valuables and cash logistics sector in the UAE “is a natural focus for Etihad Secure Logistics”.
Its new vehicles mean the company has 30% more capacity and also provide a additional security features and services to clients.
He said: “These state-of-the-art vehicles boast the latest mobile security technology, including improved monitoring and tracking solutions, to further cement our position as the partner of choice in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.”
Federally licensed to operate across the UAE-wide security industry by the Private Security Business Department (PSBD) and Security Industry Regulatory Authority (SIRA), Etihad Secure Logistics operates in cash-in-transit, armoured transport and vehicle services, and luxury goods security.
The company is expanding its Abu Dhabi International Airport operations, providing customers with valuable cargo import and export services.
Etihad Airways PJSC acquired full ownership of Etihad Secure Logistics in May and has now completed the repositioning of the business under its Cargo and Logistics Services portfolio.
