Air Senegal has chosen MRO service provider StandardAero to oversee maintenance, repair and overhaul work for its new fleet of ATR 72-600 regional turboprop aircraft.

The MRO company will provide its services for Air Senegal's aircraft from its OEM-authorized Designated Overhaul Facilities (DOFs) in Gonesse, France and Summerside, PE, Canada.

Commenting on the agreement, Ibrahima Ly, technical director of Air Senegal, said:  “This agreement with StandardAero, one of the leading engine MROs, confirms our commitment to ensuring the safety of our customers, while also optimizing our maintenance costs.  We are very pleased to sign this deal, which demonstrates the focus of our CEO Philippe Bohn on promoting operational excellence and safety.”
