Click Aviation Network, a global network of aviation partners specialised in trip support services, has successfully acquired CharterPad, an online charter search platform.

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in the US, CharterPad’s platform allows operators’ available fleets to be promoted on the Trip Board, a flight search tool that users to search and filter prospective charters by various criteria. This includes filtering trip types, dates, and routes.

In addition to its search tools, other features of the platform include virtual assistance, trip alerts, aircraft search, company profile access and an airport locator. To date, CharterPad’s live database includes over 20,000 aircraft based across the world and who are available for both charter and cargo transport.

Commenting on the acquisition, Ehsan Shaheen, co-founder & CIO of Click Aviation Network, said: “We are certain that Click Aviation Network and its Omega technologies will greatly benefit CharterPad members, as well as the entire ecosystem as a whole. We are proud to be building upon a foundation that will serve the aviation community for years to come.”

Since its inception, Click Aviation Network has fostered a global connectivity platform that provides its users access to a network of aviation professionals and services that cater to their needs. This includes expertise in flight planning, aircraft charter, catering and ground handling, to name a few.

The acquisition of CharterPad is expected to bolster Click Aviation Network’s flagship platform, Click Omega, which was founded back in 2016.

Jason Johnson, CEO at CharterPad, commented: “We celebrate the recent acquisition of CharterPad by Click Aviation Network, as we bring these two companies together to allow our clients to expand beyond the shores of the United States and enable a direct link to every charter operator, broker, FBO, ground handler, catering company and other aviation professionals that are within Click's network.”

Sharing his own viewpoint, Armando Antonini, president of CharterPad, added: “We couldn’t be more excited about joining forces with Click Aviation Network and to accomplish our shared vision of connecting the private aviation industry through intelligent technology. Their expertise in creating operational efficiency will only enhance our service offering for our members buying and selling aircraft charter around the world.”
