Aircraft trading, leasing and MRO specialist Vallair, has acquired an A321 aircraft that will be available for lease.

Purchased from Plane Business, the new aircraft follows Vallair’s recent purchase of six A320 aircraft, which were tasked to serve short-term lease agreements.

It is reported that the aircraft will serve as foundation behind the Luxembourg-based company’s launch of the Airbus A321-200 P2F cargo conversion programme.

Prior to the delivery of the A321, a full maintenance ‘C’ check will be carried out in Thailand. Afterwards, the aircraft will arrive at Vallair’s MRO facility in Montpellier, France, before hand-over to a lessee airline.

Peter Koster, head of Cargo Conversions Business Unit at Vallair, commented. “From a single aircraft in 2017, our fleet has now grown to sixteen. We’re meeting operators’ diverse needs by taking end-of-service aircraft and extending the life of these assets via the creation of cost-effective and flexible lease options. After cargo conversion, these aircraft will form the cornerstone of Vallair’s growth strategy as we seek to meet the increasing demand of operators worldwide.”

Headquartered in Luxembourg and holding facilities in both Chateauroux and Montpellier in France, Vallair offers support for mature aircraft, engines and major components. Under its umbrella, the company maintains six diverse business units that focus on a variety of aviation-related activities. These include aircraft MRO, cargo conversions, and trade & leasing, to name a few.
