It witnessed a 10% increase in overall commercial traffic in the first half of 2012, handling over 5,000 based operators and visiting aircraft movements.
Yousif Al Hammadi, Deputy General Manager at Al Bateen Executive Airport, said: “Al Bateen is again seeing double digit growth of business jet movements, especially from visiting international aircraft that have not used the airport before. And, with the Formula One season nearing, there is no doubt that Al Bateen is positioning itself, stronger than ever, as the perfect stop location due to ease of access, short turnarounds and top quality services.”
Al Bateen Executive Airport continues to develop and expand its services and has recently revamped the uniforms for the DhabiJet crew, the main food & beverage operator at the executive airport of the capital, to add character and identity to the brand.
