During the recent Airport Council International (ACI) Airport Exchange 2018, which was held in Oslo, Norway, Abu Dhabi Airports was announced as host of next year’s iteration of the show.

Revealed during a special handover ceremony at the conclusion of the 2018 edition, Mohammed Al Katheeri, SVP Strategy and Communications at Abu Dhabi Airports, officially received the hosting rights and responsibilities for Abu Dhabi Airports.

Serving as the global trade representative of the world’s airport authorities, Airport Council International’s annual Airport Exchange touches upon key aspects of airport operations. This includes developments in digital technologies, airport security and sustainability.

Bryan Thompson, CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “This is a prestigious international event, during what will be a significant time for us as we near the unveiling of one of our most significant projects to date.
