Majed Al Joker appointed EVP of Corporate Affairs at Dubai Airports

Dubai Airports has revealed that Majed Al Joker has been appointment to the position of executive vice president of Corporate Affairs.  Al Joker joined Dubai Airports back in 2008, where he initially served as the vice president of Terminal Operations.

In his new role, Al Joker will oversee the company’s corporate affairs unit, which itself manages Dubai Airports’ excellence programmes and government relations, as well as its corporate resilience, security and legal departments.

Al Joker holds a Master of Science Degree in International Business Management from Heriott Watt University in the UK.

Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airport, commented: “We’ve made great strides recently to increase the positive influence that Dubai Airports has amongst our stakeholder community, both inside and outside of the airport. 

“We’ve also improved the relationship with the various government departments with whom we interact on a daily basis.  Such improvements don’t come without hard work and effort.”

He added: “They are the result of a sustained and detailed analysis of our business needs in this pivotal area.  These improvements in our business have been led from the front by Majed Al Joker our new EVP of Corporate Affairs.”

Prior to joining Dubai Airports, Al Joker held several executive positions in a number of high-profile organisations, which include serving as senior vice president of operations for Dubai World Central (DWC), and deputy director of Airport Operations at Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC).
