Emrill, a UAE-based facilities management specialist, has announced the appointment of Louise Arkley, who will serve as the senior facilities manager for the company’s Dubai International Airport contract.
Taking over for predecessor Sarah Rodgers, who has been promoted to the head of training, Arkley arrives at her new role with over 15 years’ experience in aviation services and airside operation. Working with the likes of Emirates Airline and British Airways, the senior facilities manager’s notable portfolio of work includes a period of managing over 1,900 staff on a key dnata airside contract in the UAE.
Arkley will now oversee Emrill’s soft services contract at DXB’s Terminal 3, which delivers cleaning and janitorial services through a team of 800 professionals comprising of 12 different nationalities.

Bringing Louise on board, with her extensive hands-on aviation experience, is a good example of this commitment working.

Back in August 2018, Emrill launched a dedicated BICSc-accredited training room at DXB. The centre features a real-life environment training room with housekeeping mock-ups, as well as the BICSc standard colour-coded static displays of equipment and cleaning products. Additionally, BICSc-certified assessors are on site to oversee training and certification of Emrill’s DXB staff.
