Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier, Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) announced on Friday the launch of a new direct route to the Greek island of Mykonos from the beginning of July 2022.

Flight schedule

The airline will operate three weekly flights to Mykonos on Monday, Wednesday and Friday onboard its Airbus A320 aircraft fleet featuring a two-class configuration with 20 seats in Business Class and 90 seats in Guest Class.

Network expansion

The new summer route to Mykonos is part of the carrier’s strategy to expand its network and fleet, by increasing existing frequencies and global destinations and adding new aircraft to its existing fleet of 144 aircraft.

The airline operates an extensive network of 95 destinations across four continents, with 10 recently launched new routes including Bangkok, Thailand; Barcelona and Malaga, Spain; Marrakech, Morocco; Moscow, Russia; Beijing, China; Seoul, South Korea; Entebbe, Uganda; Amsterdam, the Netherlands; and Chicago, Illinois in the US.

Bespoke packages

Travellers can now book their flights on saudia.com, through the mobile app, SAUDIA sales offices, or travel partners.

Additionally, bespoke travel packages, including flight and hotel in Mykonos are also available through the airline’s leisure and holiday packages website, Saudia Holidays.
