Bahrain Air resumed flights to the southern Indian city of Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala on November 2. The four weekly flights will all resume immediately.
The flights were temporarily suspended when no approval was received from the Indian authoties for the IATA winter season starting from 28 October 2012.
“Bahrain Air would like to thank the Indian Civil Aviation, Indian Ministry of Transport and the Bahraini Ambassador in India for their efforts to help resolve this issue,” the airline said in a statement on its website. “We would also like to thank all those who supported and lobbied for these flights as it demonstrates the close links between Trivandrum and Bahrain.”
