Emirates had to divert a passenger flight from Dubai to Los Angeles this week, after the pilots expressed concern about malfunctioning toilets.
The Boeing 777-200 was performing flight EK-215 when problems occurred, prompting a diversion to Moscow Domodedovo airport.
Following a safe landing and repair work, the plane departed over four hours later, according to a report in the Aviation Herald.
However, around 100nm northwest of Domodedovo Airport, a decision was made to return the plane back to Dubai, where it landed over five hours later.
After 11 hours on ground at Dubai International Airport, it departed once again and landed in Los Angeles with a total delay of 28 hours.
Emirates Airlines chose to not comment, according to the report.
