Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) has been announced as the main sponsor of Saudi Arabia’s Saudi International Airshow. The first event of its kind to be held in the country, the airshow is set to run from the 12 -14 March 2019 at Al Thumamah Airport in Riyadh.
The upcoming international aviation and aerospace exhibition will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Space Agency and Founder and Chairman of the Saudi Aviation Club.
The three-day airshow will feature a pavilion space with more than 300 exhibitors and a wide range of aircraft on static display. Delegates from across the region, along with international guests, are expected to attend the event.
This will include representatives from across a number of elements of the aviation industry, such as aviation aircraft manufacturers, airlines, ground handlers, MRO services, as well as terminal operators, to name a few.
During the signing of the agreement, the Director General of the Saudi Aviation Club, Captain Ayed Odhaib Alkasme and Saudi Arabian Airlines Vice President Corporate Communications, Fahad Bahdailah, discussed the role of the airline at the upcoming airshow.
