Emirates announces Flydubai codeshares will begin next month

From 3 October, customers can fly on Flydubai from 29 destinations and connect with Emirates in Dubai with the complimentary meals and baggage allowances

Emirates has announced it will begin extending its network to routes operated by Flydubai from 29 October.

Customers booking flights from 3 October, can now choose to fly on flights operated by Flydubai from 29 destinations across three continents before connecting with Emirates in Dubai and moving onward to the rest of the Emirates network.

Codeshare flights booked through Emirates will feature complimentary meals and the standard Emirates checked-in baggage allowances on each leg of the flight.

Customers arriving at Flydubai's Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport will be to transfer to an Emirates flight in Terminal 3 within 120 minutes.

The codeshare routes can be booked from 3 October for flights from 29 October.
