Sharjah-based Air Arabia is set to resume direct flights between Alexandria in Egypt and Doha, Qatar’s capital, from 2 February.
Air Arabia this month became the first airline in the UAE to resume regular flights to Qatar after the Al Ula Accord was signed, ending a three-year dispute with Doha.
The low-cost carrier resumed direct flights between Sharjah and Doha, Qatar’s capital, starting from 18 January.
Flights between Egypt and Qatar, involving the national carriers of both countries, are also set to recommence.
A statement from Air Arabia said: “Since COVID-19 outbreak, Air Arabia’s customer journey has been upgraded to include all safety measures that are in line with the highest international measures.
“Air Arabia’s entire fleet is fitted with HEPA cabin air filters, which help to provide a safer and healthier environment for passengers. Customers are always requested to comply with the conditions and requirements of the countries of departure and destination.”
