Emirates Airline and its catering division are preparing to serve half-a-million Christmas-themed meals across all its classes during December.
Emirates’ festive menu will be placed on all classes on routes in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, South Africa and the Philippines.
The company is also angling its in-flight entertainment choice to cater for holiday travellers.
Emirates’ ICE system will feature Christmas films and Christmas TV specials. Customers will be able to create bespoke holiday playlists ahead of their journey and sync it to their seats once on-board with the Emirates app.
And Emirates’ recently-launched retail initiative, EmiratesRED, will aim to capitalise on Christmas gift spend among passengers.
The in-flight duty free shopping magazine will show over 150 products and will offer promotional discounts to passengers during December.
