Adding a new luxurious option for its premium customers to take advantage of while passing through Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport, Emirates has unveiled a new lounge in the terminal.
Located in Level 2 of Terminal 3, close to gates E22-E24, the new lounge boasts breath-taking views that overlook the runway, as well as a direct boarding facility for aircraft. The lounge holds almost 950 sqm of floor space and a seating capacity of 162.
Mohammed Mattar, Emirates’ Divisional SVP, Airport Services, said: “The new lounge represents an investment of over $4.5m by Emirates, and is an integral part of our focus to provide our premium and loyal customers with the highest levels of comfort and convenience, not just in the air, but also on the ground.
He added: “The new Rome airport lounge brings to 42 the number of Emirates’ lounges, making it one of the largest airline networks of lounges across the world, and we’ll continue to open new ones and refurbish others.”
Amongst its other amenities and facilities, the lounge also features a dining area, a prayer room, shower facilities, a business centre, along with an extensive buffet with a wide variety of cuisines.
The Dubai-based carrier serves Rome with two flights a day and Milan with three flights a day. At the same time, Emirates serves Venice and Bologna with a daily flight each.
