German airline Lufthansa is set to introduce two new destinations in the upcoming 2019 year. The first of the two will see the airline’s first connections from Frankfurt to Austin. Set to launch on the 3 May 2019, this will mark the carrier’s third destination in Texas.
Running a total of five times a week, the new route will be serviced by an Airbus A330-300 boasting 255 seats set in a three-class configuration.
Departing from Frankfurt in the morning, the 10-hour flight is expected to arrive in Austin in the afternoon, local time. The return flight will then depart from Texas in the late afternoon and arrive at Frankfurt Airport in the morning, the following day.
The next addition to the airline’s network will be a new connection between Munich to Bangkok that will go live on the 1 June 2019. An Airbus A350-900 was tasked to the route, which will take off from Munich in the afternoon.
