More than a marketing initiative, Etihad’s new ‘Greenliner’ was launched as a testbed for sustainable practises which can be rolled out across the airline’s fleet. The company also launched bold plans to achieve zero net carbon emissions by 2050 in a strategy designed to push the entire industry.

Marking Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, Lufthansa Group pledged a host of initiatives, strategies and investments to make flight operations in the region more sustainable. New, more efficient aircraft and renewed practises are making the group synonymous with sustainability in the aviation space.
