Dubai Aerospace Enterprise’s (DAE) engineering division, Joramco, has signed a maintenance agreement with Saudi Arabia-based low-cost carrier flyadeal.
As per the agreement, the MRO specialist recently completed maintenance work on one of flyadeal’s A320 aircraft, which was undertaken last month for a 20-day duration.
Boasting over 50 years of experience of working within the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) space, Joramco is certified by the number of global regulatory authorities, which includes the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
Commenting on this agreement, Jeff Wilkinson, Joramco CEO said: “We are pleased that flyadeal has selected Joramco to perform these maintenance tasks. This collaboration reaffirms Joramco’s strength, expertise and know-how on the A320 and we look forward to providing flyadeal with continued long-term value solutions and superior maintenance services”.
Created back in April 2016 by Saudia, the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, flyadeal was formed as part of a venture under Saudia Group's SV2020 Transformation Strategy. The low-cost carrier will cater to domestic travellers, Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, as well as tourists visiting Saudi Arabia.
