Air services provider dnata has signed an agreement with IBS Software, an IT solution provider for the global aviation industry, to implement the iCargo terminal operation suite across all its stations.

As one of the first ground handlers to commit to a global roll-out of iCargo, dnata will gradually roll out the solution across its systems by 2020. Additionally, iCargo is expected to be utilised by a user base of over 5,000 staff members across 27 stations, in 10 countries.

Features of the platform include the capability to automate key operational functions, such as ULD management, Quality monitoring and mail management. The end result will be the real-time availability of operational data, which will give dnata actionable insights towards improving revenue generation and operational efficiency.
